A glimpse of 'Colors of the Sun'

Welcome to the synopsis page for "Colors of the Sun," a film project by Colors of the Sun, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. This page provides an overview of the film, tailored for film festival selection.

Synopsis

COLORS OF THE SUN is an ensemble mosaic born from 351 real stories collected in 1985, when the AIDS epidemic was still unnamed in many communities and compassion was in short supply. Set against the bright desert backdrop of Albuquerque, the film follows a group of strangers whose lives intersect in surprising and tender ways as they confront loss, prejudice, love, and the simple need to be seen. Made with a grassroots spirit and a cast driven by heart rather than budget, the film offers a vivid, humane look at how people hold on to light even as their world dims.
