Description

CLINK is a psychological short film that explores the disorientation and fear that accompany addiction. The story follows Tony, a young man who wakes naked and confused in an empty house. A faint clink echoes through the rooms, a small sound that seems to trigger shifts in reality. As Tony searches for a way out, the house changes around him. Doors lock. Rooms distort. A full party appears and vanishes, leaving him alone with a bottle that refuses to stay broken.

Fragments of memory surface. Tony sees himself drinking in different places, always with the same blurred intensity. He relives a disturbing moment in a bathtub where his friend Darron forces his head underwater while insisting he is trying to help. The line between memory and hallucination collapses until Tony disappears beneath a white sheet, only to reawaken in bed as Darron enters casually and insists nothing was wrong.

The film follows Tony through a cycle of confusion, fear, and recognition. The clink that haunts him becomes a quiet reminder of the truth he has tried to avoid. CLINK uses sensory distortion and repetition to portray addiction as a shifting landscape where reality is unstable and the past refuses to stay buried.
